Hurghada and Port Ghalib, Marsa Alam, Red Sea - July 2010
A two-week break to the Red Sea - a week at the Marriott Hotel in Hurghada, and a week at the Marina Lodge, Port Ghalib, Marsa Alam.
Photos coming soon!

Marriott Hotel Hurghada, Red Sea - July 2009
Back to our old favourite, only this time it was for TWO weeks ...
Once again we were spoiled rotten by the hotel, the dive centre and especially the boat crews, and some of us even managed to fit in a bit of culture with a trip to the Temple at Karnak, the Valley of the Kings (including Tutenkhamen's tomb) and a mini Nile cruise!
Simply superb, yet again ...

Bonaire and Curacao - October 2008
Unlimited diving, free Nitrox, an almost-brand-new pick-up truck, tanks available by "drive-thru" ... what could possibly have gone wrong? Afterall, Bonaire's outside the hurricane belt - isn't it??
Well maybe it is, but unfortunately "Tropical Storm Omar" decided to pay us a visit nonethless...
...but hey, we weren't gonna let that stop us having fun!!

Marriott Hotel Hurghada, Red Sea - July 2008
Another beautiful week's diving courtesy of Diving World - great dive sites, loadsafish, even a couple of dolphins playing around (or should that be showing off?) just for us! Has there ever been a more welcoming dive centre?

Manado, North Sulawesi, Indonesia - October 2007
A two-centre trip to Manado, Indonesia, staying at Tasik Ria and Kungkungan Bay resorts. Amazing sights both above and below water, with everything from pilot whales to pygmy seahorses! Then, just to round things off, a few days relaxation(!?) in Singapore...

Marriott Hotel Hurghada, Red Sea - July 2007
More terrific diving in the Red Sea with Diving World dive centre, and more pampering at the Marriott Beach Resort Hotel, conveniently placed not only for the diving but also both old and new town Hurghada. There's even a gym... (apparently!?).

Marriott Hotel Hurghada, Red Sea - July 2006
We love Hurghada - it's ideal for new starters, photographers, old hands and non-divers alike! The Marriott looked after us really well as usual, and Diving World, yet again, were simply fantastic. And wasn't this the year we discovered the delights of Sakara Red?

Lily Beach Resort, Maldives - October 2005
This trip was something REALLY special. A two week holiday to the beautiful islands of the Maldives. White sandy beaches, a lovely resort, a facinating house reef, whale sharks, eagle rays, mantas, turtles, fish balls(?), night dives - and who could EVER forget the Harlequin Shrimp?! (Assuming of course you knew where to look...)

Marriott Hotel Hurghada, Red Sea - July 2005
The Marriott is described as offering its guests "the ultimate in comfort and convenience", while Hurghada's diving offers "an abundance of reef marine life and an incredible diversity of corals, including impressive towers and pinnacles"... Actually, we don't necessarily agree - we think it's better than that!

Marsa Alam, Red Sea - July 2003
A week's holiday at the Kahramana Beach Resort in Marsa Alam - camel rides, quad-biking safari, cocktails by the pool... oh yeah, we just about found time to go diving too! One of the best things about Marsa has to be that you can dive Elphinstone Reef... bring on the Hammerheads!!!

The Brothers Liveaboard, Red Sea - May 2003
A week-long liveaboard to the Brother Islands in the Red Sea, staying on the superb M/Y Sea Serpent. Encounters included whale sharks, manta rays, thresher, reef and oceanic whitetip sharks... we were spoilt rotten! Add that to coral reefs teeming with fish, the wrecks of the Aida II and the Numidia... let's just say it was well well well worth the trip!
