The Open Water course is split into theory sessions (held in the shop on Wednesday evenings, 7:00 - 9:00pm), and pool sessions (held on the corresponding Saturday evenings, 6:45 - 9:30pm).

The qualifying Open Water Dives take place after the theory and pool sessions are completed. These are normally on the two Sundays following the last pool session, but this is obviously dependent on the weather.

The dates listed below are for the first theory session at the start of each course.

The Advanced Open Water Diver course runs all year round and is available on request.

Emergency First Response (EFR) course dates available on request.

Divemaster

At Extreme Marine we run Divemaster as an internship over several months.

The course consists of advanced academic sessions, and both confined and open water sessions. Academic sessions are run over a period of 10-12 weeks, covering one topic per week.
