PADI Open Water Diver

Open Water Diver is PADI's entry level diving qualification, which allows you to dive just about anywhere in the world!

The Open Water course is split into theory sessions (held in the shop on Wednesday evenings, 7:00 - 9:00pm), and pool sessions (held on the corresponding Saturday evenings, 6:45 - 9:30pm). You can also choose to do the theory sessions using PADI's e-learning package instead if you'd prefer.

The qualifying Open Water Dives take place after the theory and pool sessions are completed, normally on the two Sundays following the last pool session.

		At Extreme Marine we offer the course in several versions : Referral Course - £235 This includes all the academic sessions, confined water dives (pool sessions) and examinations, but not the qualifying Open Water dives. This is suitable for anyone who wants to get the majority of the training out of the way, before going on to complete their Open Water dives elsewhere - on holiday abroad for example. All materials and equipment are supplied. Standard Open Water Course - £295 As the referral course but also includes the Open Water dives and PADI certification. Open Water PLUS Course - £395 The Open Water PLUS Course includes everything you get with the standard Open Water Diver course, but you also get to choose your own Mask, Snorkel, Fins and Boots from a selected range - and these are yours to keep after the course!!
